Military and first responders: ask us about 10% off

Clean water shouldn’t break the bank.

Water spots on dishes, mineral buildup in the shower, and dry-feeling skin can all be signs of hard water. The North Texas Municipal Water District calls the treated water supplied to many Collin County communities “moderately hard.”* At Pour It Forward, our mission is simple: high-quality water treatment priced to challenge industry standards and make you and your wallet happy. We’ll help you find a system that fits your water and your home.

The numbers behind the spots and scale.

140–200 ppmHardness in treated water

Hard minerals leave buildup on fixtures and pipes, spots on dishes, and soap that’s harder to rinse away. Whole-home softening targets those minerals.

293–432 ppmTotal dissolved solids

The Wylie plants measured this range in treated water. A dedicated tankless reverse osmosis system adds another filtration step for water you drink and cook with.

What about PFAS “forever chemicals”?

After water passes through your whole-home treatment, the dedicated tankless RO adds another step at the drinking tap. Reverse osmosis can reduce certain PFAS in drinking water.

Thoughtful treatment, from the main line to your drinking tap.

Our systems combine durable whole-home treatment with a dedicated drinking-water option. Here’s what the components are built to do.

01 / SOFTEN

USA-made softening resin

Our 10% crosslinked softening resin is made in the USA and carries WQA Gold Seal certification. It addresses the hardness minerals behind soap residue, water spots, and scale.

02 / FILTER

Backwashing coconut carbon

We choose coconut-shell carbon with low heavy-metal leaching in mind, including arsenic. It helps reduce chlorine and chloramine taste and odor throughout the home. In Whole Home Complete, the carbon tank backwashes without a separate electronic head—one less controller to maintain.

03 / CONTROL

Ceramic-disc valve

The upgraded control valve uses ceramic discs designed for long life. The supplier’s lifetime warranty covers the discs; other valve parts have separate terms.

04 / DRINK

7-stage tankless RO

The HW800 AlkaPro uses seven filtration stages, including a 0.0001-micron membrane, coconut-carbon polishing, and alkaline remineralization—fresh water on demand without a storage tank.

Frequently asked

Questions worth asking.

What’s the difference between whole-home treatment and reverse osmosis?

The whole-home tank or tanks treat water as it enters your home. The RO unit provides water at a dedicated drinking-water point, generally near the kitchen sink. The exact results depend on the selected equipment and your water conditions.

What changes between the three tiers?

Home Essentials includes a single dual-bed whole-home tank and tankless RO, with an optional XL tank upgrade. Whole Home Complete is a dual-tank city-water system with tankless RO. Estate Protection is a custom dual-tank well-water system with tankless RO included and possible add-ons for harsh mineral concerns. We’ll confirm the final components after reviewing your water and home.

Is installation included?

Your proposal will state the equipment and installation scope clearly. An independent licensed plumbing partner performs regulated plumbing work. New plumbing loops, unusual routing, electrical work, permits, or other site-specific needs may affect the price.

How much maintenance should I expect?

RO filters and membranes and whole-home media need periodic service. The schedule varies by model and water conditions, so we include the actual maintenance requirements with the selected equipment.

Do you offer a warranty?

Applicable product warranty terms will be included with your written proposal. Installation labor and workmanship terms are provided by the independent installer who performs that work.
